Fog in Venice

Though my view of the ocean and the other islands composing the city was quite limited by the thick fog I appreciated my time spent wandering around Venice.  The city's packed together buildings with no formal layout combined with the separation of the city into many islands creates quite the unique walking around experience.  Frequently losing my sense of direction and even more frequently searching for a bridge to cross the street that is a canal.  Nighttime gave the city a really unique and eerie feeling like some dark, winding maze out of a movie.
